Happy Hump Day!

Wednesday happens to be the Summer Solstice and a big party is planned at The Forks (as well as in Ottawa and in many other places across Canada)

Maybe we can catch a bit of it later on, after 5:30 or 6:00 p.m. tonight

Hope everyone has a great day

Love and Green Lights to all

Spideyman - how are you doing?

We have what is called 'June bugs' here the first 2 weeks of June. It is all the kids that have graduated. Big pains in the butt!!
These are the June bugs we have here.....mostly all summer. When I was a kid, we'd catch one and tie a long string around its leg and let it fly around. They sound like helicopters.

Good morning,

Is it really only Wednesday? Good gravy. Does it seem like it has been a super long week to anyone else, or just me?

Sundrop How is your pup?

I did get some outside reading in on Monday. Not as long as I wanted, but it was nice. Evan's dentist appointment went well. My kids have been blessed with good teeth. It is comical to watch the dentist and the techs...I think they are almost disappointed! ;-D Anyway, there was a snafu with the panoramic x-ray machine, they wanted a more in depth pic because his wisdom teeth are not showing yet on the regular xray, and the machine would not send the pics to the computer. So I have to take him back tomorrow afternoon to do that over, but it should be just a quick in and out trip.

Hope everyone has a good day. Big hugs and positive vibes to all. :love_heart:

Great Hump Day!!

I stop by quickly to let you know that I am still alive and are doing well. My laptop stopped to work last week, I don't know what got into it. I use my
parents computer now.

We are all doing well here. I have been busy with work. We are celebrating Midsummer this coming weekend and that also means three days off from work for me.
Been working in two weeks now with only one day off (Sunday). Tomorrow is my last work day this week. Then I'm going to relax and enjoy my time off.

Midsummer is a special time. It's that time of the year when the sun doesn't go down and we celebrate nightless night. It's a night when you just like
to stay up and not go and sleep at all. Expect that we see the sun and it's not cloudy or rainy. Forecast says good weather for the weekend, but we'll see.

Been cooler these last days. Last week was warm 23 Celsius and sunny. Now it's only 11 Celsius and raining. This weather change so quickly form warm to cold.

There is a special dance all people in Finland should learn by Midsummer. It's because we celebrate 100 year old Finland this year, so on Friday from 7 pm to 10 pm it's
time to dance. I better start to practice now so I can the part of the movements on Friday :wink2:

Have a good day and take care, be well and stay safe...

Yep, it's been a long week for sure.....and today will probably be extra long :biggrin2:

Pearl the dog seems to be feeling better, but has crapped in my floor twice. I'm hoping that is just part of her tummy bug....if not, she'll be an outdoor doggie soon.

Wishing Evan good luck with his wisdom teeth!
