Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a nice weekend. I had RJ all day Saturday, while Mama and Daddy went to the lake for one last hurrah of summer. Yesterday, just laundry and tv. :D

Today is jr high orientation. First big brother had meetings, and couldn't go, then they were moved to Tuesday, and he could go, now he has a couple today and tomorrow. So Evan is stuck with me today. :cocksure: Have to take the younger kids with, so hopefully that doesn't upset people, the letter said no younger siblings. Have no other choice though, but to take them with us!

Been pretty chilly here, low 40s right now, and there was a thin layer of frost when I took hubby to work. Not quite solid, but not really slushy. It snowed over the weekend up where we were just camping. Ugh.

Going to be pretty busy day here, so here is wishing you all a happy day! Big hugs and positive vibes to all!

Today is the first day of high school for DD#2 (and first day riding the train and a bus to get there and home) and the first day of college for DD#1. And it's my anniversary. Sort of a stressful day--lol.

Anyway, I was doing my readings this morning and hit on this from the meditation. I thought y'all might like it, too:

"The secret of happiness, like the kingdom of God, is within you. Take life the way God has given it to you, put a frame around it, and within that frame make your own happiness...If and when you can say to yourself that there is really no material thing that you want or need, then you are close to wisdom and happiness."

Actually, when I looked at the word jumble, the first thing that jumped out at me was "genuine." But I thought "yuk" sounded funnier. So... I guess I wasn't so genuine when I first wrote down the answer.

Spirit animal is an owl. I was trying to manipulate the test to see if I could get wolf. Which also isn't so genuine.

College starts today for me, so back to the old grind (Senior year! Does goes by quick...but is it bad that I already have senioritis? o_O)

Happy Monday everyone!!

Was a great weekend with the wedding and everything. My friend's wedding went well and now they are in a happy marriage.
It rained Saturday morning but sun started to shine later on the day. The food was delicious and the cake awesome. I have a lot
of pictures, but show only few to you. We partied until late at night and everyone was tired Sunday morning.
