Happy Friday, Happy November!

Not much planned here today. Hubby is off, we may go out and about a little today. The city is turning off our water again today for that water main construction. Supposed to be off for 4 hours but last time they said 4 hrs and it was a full 8 before we had water so I'm not holding out much hope. I will be so glad when they're done with that! It's been a pain to get in and out of the neighborhood for 3 months, 4 lanes of traffic reduced to 2 in the off hours and only 1 lane during the day. Lots of stopping and waiting your turn.

Today is All Saints Day - I'm named after Saint Constance (she's got kind of a wicked story), and my confirmation name is after Saint Judith (a wonderful namesake). Anyone else here Catholic?

And for some reason - I've got the SADZ today. I guess it's just hormones, but sheesh - yesterday I was cranky, this morning I am sad for no reason - and it won't go away. Poor me!

I think this is the first Friday I've been off in quite some time. Weird. Oh, well. Right now I've got some Ian Gillan on iTunes and I'm doing some blogging, too.

I had a job interview the day before yesterday. I think things went well. Where I'm working right now is practically a sinking ship and I don't want to be the guy left going down with it, lol. I sooooo can't wait to go elsewhere.

For all Firefox users out there. If you get annoyed at videos that start up automatically when you open a page (usually at max volume), Firefox has an add-on called flashblock that stops that. It replaces the automatic video with a button to push if you choose to play it. I really love this add-on. Go to the tools and click get "add-ons" and put flashblock in the search box and you should find it.

Okay it's "cleeshay" time (I don't know where that accent thingy is) - as Mom (dear old departed Mom rest her soul) always used to say - "you never miss the water until the well runs dry" - aren't we lucky to have hot running water? I think it is such a wonderful thing!

Yup - went to Catholic school with the nuns in the black and white habits - yikes! I got a good education but those nuns were dang scary! (I think Staropeace might be as well but you'd have to check with her for sure - or is it notNadine? Whatever - if they named me after anything it must have been the god of wine - Dionysius - (Denise?) I don't know what to believe so I believe I'll just have another cup of tea (or milk or coffee - anything but wine! - it's only 9:30 a.m. where I am!)
