That make three of us. I have netflix, basic TV, and Amazon instant video. I find I have more than enough to watch! I don't miss cable (dish network) or the 94.00 a month bill. Have a good day everyone! May it be a calm, happy, and healthy one!!
We don't have cable/sat. Netflix and Acorn TV, which I like because of the Brit content. But we do own a lot of movies. I can't justify paying the criminal fees just to see commercials. If I want to see those, I just go on the internet.

Hump Day again! Has seemed like a never-ending week around here. Hubby not working tonight after all, so he will have a little more time to get himself switched back to normal hours. :encouragement:

Between the dog barking at every little noise the last few nights ( he only does that on night shifts, it's like he thinks/knows he is on watch duty when Scott is gone...but it's always the cats he is barking at! ;) Which I suppose I should be grateful for), and Ty and Ali awake and fighting at 3 am (over what exactly, I'm still not clear on ;-D), I'm beat already this morning. Might have to try to sneak in a nap, have RJ later today too.

Hope your Wednesday treats you very well! Big hugs and positive vibes to all!

I find I watch much more tv now that I don't' have cable. I used to flip through channel after channel and end up watching zip! If I want to watch cute commercials there's youtube for that!:0:

Happy Hump Day!!!
Snowed this morning right before I was ready to go to work, roads was also slippery, so had to drive careful with summer tires
under my car. Later it started to rain and the snow we got melted. I heard that in east Finland they got a lot of snow and we are still in
September. Here below are two pictures of my mom's and my car this morning.
20140924_072838.jpg 20140924_072903.jpg you see, it really snowed this morning.

Was a busy but a short and good workday today. Only tomorrow left and then two days off. I look forward those two
days. Poor boyfriend, he's been sick and was off from work yesterday. Today he went back, but he is still sick with flu, I told
him to take it easy and don't overdo, drink hot chocolate and take painkillers. He said he's gonna do that. I hope he recover
soon. I couldn't sleep much when I was overnight at his house, listening when he coughed and snuffle all night, felt so sorry for
him. I'm still feeling well.

Take care and be well everyone. Please stay safe. Mother Nature have forgot her chill pill again.

(((all in need or not)))

Me neither-not even basic cable. PBS is one of our 5 basic "free" channels.
We jettisoned cable when the bill skyrocketed. Netflix, Hulu, and free stuff on the Roku box. We do pay for the season of Walking Dead on VUDU ($27), but other than that we don't miss cable (or the bill--lol). Sometimes I think about getting an antenna in order to get the basic channels, but so far that idea's gone nowhere :)

Acorn TV is on the Roku and I've been wondering about it. Is it pay per show like VUDU, or a subscription? We do love Brit TV.

Good Hump Day to all. Getting ready to catch SK on The View.
No DVR here, and conflicts with what I normally watch, so last evening was interesting. I watched my new season shows of NCIS and took a look at NCIS- NOLA. Thus missing SK Finding Your Roots-- However, I had noticed the episode repeated at 1AM.
Am an early riser- 5AM. I set the alarm for 1AM. Then I noticed the first half of Finding Your Roots was available at PBS site. watched that. Finished up chores, drifted till 1AM and sat quietly with tea in hand watching all the emotions that SK was feeling. Excellent show. Needless to say I am a tad out of it from lack of sleep. Well worth the experience.

I'll be at bean bag central drifting in nap-ville. All welcome to join.

Would love to join. Tea sounds great and could use the company. Hubby is off having a stress test at the VA today. Could be up to 8 hours or as little as 2. But I hate the wait.
