Feel like i lived two lifes since tuesday. Dogtired. But i have fixed the funeral and place and the little get together afterwards. I even wrote a poem today. Hoping mom will like it. I'll read it at the funeral.

Your mom will love your poem, Kurben. I am glad the arrangements are being made. Please promise to take care of you too.

I think that's a great thing to do Kurben! At my dad's funeral, anyone who wanted to was invited to stand up and say a few words....several people did and it was nice to hear what they had to say.

Well, you get some rest, Kurben. I know this is a very difficult time for you, and please know that I'm thinking about you today.

Sigh. Nope. Still there. If anybody's got any advice about epicunit, I'd be grateful.
Malware/virus scans don't catch it.
It's not in my browser's settings or extensions.
uninstalling/reinstalling my browser didn't fix it.
Resetting my browser's settings didn't fix it.
System restore didn't fix it.
I'm kinda at the end of my rope with this stinking bug.

Maybe there's someone a bit more computer literate here, but my next step would be to backup or save anything I could and do a system recovery. It will bring you back to your original factory settings, and you would have to re-install any programs or files that you've saved.

Yeah. That's a last-ditch option. Might have to. I'm hoping there's something simple I'm overlooking. There are a few bugs that aren't actually a virus, it's an extension that you have to into browser extensions and get rid of from there. And some that a system restore take care of. I'm hoping I don't have to start from scratch. But I will if I have to.
Great suggestions. Thanks :)

Problems started when she had gall bladder surgery. Doc nicked something...bile duct or something...didn't know...closed her back up. Problems set in. They haul her south to Marquette...priest gets the call...they do what they can and we think that when they put her back together things weren't placed with the care they should have been placed...maybe there was a what does it matter, she doesn't have long attitude. I dunno. She pulled through, though. And so...stomach intake isn't located where it should be, stuff in stomach that shouldn't...gurgles out the intake, acids, stuff like that. Every so often she experiences a lot of pain and the ER can't/doesn't do much more than provide pain relief. She's better now, didn't go in to work yesterday. Happens every blue moon, not that often. I don't think they used any mesh. Weird how that works...doc comes by, sticks a Q-tip into the surgical cut? Wiggles it a bit...pulls it out...smells it?
Um - ew!

Probably checking for signs of infection - often a purulent odor indicates problems so they can put you on an IV antibiotic or at least send a swab to the lab for culture.

Currently 13F with wind chill making it feel like -4F. I just talked to my mom who is in a different part of the state and it was -4F without the wind chill. :icon_eek:

How've you been, Neesy? :haha:
Cold - frozen - but not bad apart from that! :)

I heard it is so cold in Tennessee that Johnny Reid was supposed to have gone down a hill on a 'flying saucer' LOL - but do you think I can find that darn video anywhere? :no_pig:

UPDATE ON PITH:
Contact has been made. He is well. The first eye surgery was a complete success. He says the world is really out there!!!!! He can see again and never realized how bad the left eye is.

Next surgery for other eye is set for Tuesday. The weather has been harsh and business is at an almost
standstill.
He misses all on the SKMB and says memories and thoughts of you guys keep him sane when he's snowed in. The cats are fat and well.

The bad news-- he fell. Thinks it a combo of snow and depth perception now that the eye sees again. Possible fracture to collar bone. Just what he did not need. His spirit is good and he hasn't sounded so upbeat in ages. Looking forward to full eyesight and Spring. Big plans for The Bodacious Oasis.

When he has more minutes he'll shout out again. He sends all peace and love and a ton of emoticons.

Great news, minus collarbone, but collarbone's are easily damaged, suggesting that his fall could've been worse and the healing could be swift; meanwhile, it'll help keep him under control which something tells me he needs as a general life rule. (The same something talks to me about me.) Keep us posted!!!
