Not looking likely that I'll be able to make it......too many expenses on the plate.....too little money and too little summer. 
Ohio is too hard to get to from Ireland. As it's not on the tourist trail it's awkward as well. So, unfortunately I'll have to be there in spirit and enjoy the pics.

...OK...here's an update...I chatted up Jodie at the Mansfield VC Bureau today and some preliminary figures and news....I have requested group rates at Country inn & Suites, so if everyone's accepting-we can all be in the same location...she's looking for a block rate on 15-20 rooms, and I've asked her to get me a price on a small meeting room so we have a centralized gathering spot...if you wish to stay somewhere else, that's fine-I'm just trying to get as many of us in one spot as possible to ease getting us all together for group activities...Kingwood Center will be cheap enough, it's five bucks a carload for self-guided tours and Tracy and I know the area well...the Richland Carousel is a buck a ride...not much price change in YEARS!...and the big event, the Prison Tour-will be Friday at a time TBD and it's only seven bucks a head for a guided tour...the ghost tours are ALL booked already and are ridiculously expensive, so as much as I'd like-that won't happen....plenty of buffets like Chinese and Golden Corral for group and family style dining and dozens of other places in the motel area for shopping and dining....there will be no lack of things to do...I am psyched about everybody getting there and getting to know the new faces from this years undertaking...still waiting to hear back from Donna on shirt ideas over and above the one I put together...so there it all is for the moment.....phew!...

...heard from Donna, she is going to get designs for the Kon t-shirt made up, and we'll get em posted here, much like last years went-so you can order your comfortable sizes and such, with her shipping them prior to the event...so glad she got with me!!!...my idea was to not cut her out, but to get the concept rolling...until many of you got ahold of me, I had no way to reach her...she is WONDERFUL...also, for attendees-the prison tour will be the 18th, so plan on arriving Thursday night-so we can get a good start on the day the 18th...

...Mid Ohio Sports Car Course is near Mansfield, and they're having a "Super Bike" weekend the same days as the Kon...so, as much as I'd like to have everyone in the same motel-that may not be possible, just go to the mansfieldtourism.com-click on motels and start dickering on your best deal. I just want everyone there, even if we can't be in the same building so to speak...I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone!...
