I watched the first one. It's interesting enough to watch the next one, but I'm not sure how much farther it can go.

I recorded it and haven't watched so I'll avoid the spoiler tag but looking forward to the thoughts on it.From the peeks at the previews it's a great cast and looks like an intriguing story. I think it's an 8 episode mini series and not a full blown series.

Without spoiling anything, I'll say only that the characters are written to be a bit more stereotypical than I like. I'm not entirely comfortable with that, even if the story is interesting.
