Just sharing a link that you may find interesting; this is a complete timeline of the TV series, starting from before the ZA outbreak. It really puts into perspective how short a space of time the last and current series have actually covered; compared to where we are now, most of S4 happened only a couple of weeks ago! Whereas the gap between, IIRC, seasons two and three was a matter of months. It definitely clarified things for me, so I thought I'd pass it on :encouragement:

I think it's off a bit. For example, if Shane and Lori had sex on day 61, why would she have Glenn getting a PG test on day 70? She wouldn't have had time to miss a period, and they aren't accurate that close to conception anyway--it would still be showing negative (in almost all cases). One of a few things that don't make sense in their timeline.

Gotta say I did not think that the timeline was spot on. It seems to have missed some significant dates.

Yeah, and time tags from the characters themselves. At one point, someone says it's been 8 months between the end of season 3 and the beginning of season 4, but there's no accounting for that in the timeline. There was also significant time lapse between the end of season 2 and the beginning of season 3--enough that Lori went from flat belly to ready to deliver. Just those two spans would make the span of time of the show longer than the timeline. And to be honest, perhaps the different writers of the show and webisodes weren't tracking time the same or both as strictly. Heaven knows we can't use Judith as a guide--that kid has changed size out of line with any type of reality a few times. Plus, it's hard to say how the timelines for the different storylines juxtapose until they collide. At any rate, it doesn't matter all that much to me--I roll with it (my mantra for non-historical fiction--lol) and enjoy what we get :)

For anyone who likes Andrew Lincoln: I just finished Afterlife last night, and I have to say it's in my top 5 TV series ever. Not a single bad episode. They were all interesting, at the very least, and there were some genuinely creepy/scary eps. The last two of the series were thoughtful and absolutely satisfying (though I ugly cried through most of both). If you get a chance to watch it, do.

Good point. Unless, I guess, it's implying that their affair started at an unknown point; i.e. day 61 is the first time they're confirmed as sleeping together? But LoL, I agree re: just enjoying it; I'm just glad to have this discussion to fill the void until next month!! o_O:encouragement:;)
