Way back when, I was taught that this is when the gift exchange was actually more appropriate to honor the Magi and signaled the true end of the Christmas season.

Cool enough. But I took the house decorations down the afternoon of January 1 anyway.

I love the story of the 3 kings - I believe it's true that they weren't kings but advisors or priests or possibly something like a sorcerer. And the song - it's the only time we'll hear that song in Mass, and I love it. There will be violins, a cello and flutes.

I wanted to wait until Monday to take down the decorations, but the Ogre did it while I was out yesterday. I'm a bit sad - I hate putting it all up, but I love the lights.
