Of course you did.Thought it was a legitimate question myself.

Thankee. Now I just have to do it again. I have ideas ...Congratulations on joining the published writers group!
Of course you did.
Awesome! Which one?...Congrats baby girl!...it will be my next Kindle download...ironically, I'm pushing through a Zombie Antho now....
...The New Dead...I really am gobsmacked by the numerous takes on the shambling mythos...Awesome! Which one?
WOO-HOO! Congrats! Now I have something else to check outI posted about this elsewhere, but several months ago, a writer friend asked me to contribute a short story to a zombie anthology he was working on. I did it (at the last minute, like you do). It's out now. There are so many things about the story that I would change if I could ... but that's what I get for procrastinating. Anyway, for my first short ever (I have no idea why my friend even remotely trusted me ... I mean, really, that was a total act of blind faith on his part) "The Last Ministry" is not bad. It's not the best story in there (and it's not remotely scary), but it's not the worst, either. I'd post it on my blog if I could, but I'm not allowed to for six months, BUT if you want to read it: Rise of the Dead. (Disclosure: I get no renumer—remun—I'm not making any money off this thing. It's just cool, and it's got me all fired up about working on my novel and completing more shorts.)
It's still a bit fuzzy in my head ... but it won't be a standard vampire story, I don't think. If I remember correctly, I've got till January 31 to submit, so it'll be a while.Congratulations on being published! I've read the bit available on Amazon (that's only part of the story, right?), sounds interesting. Now vampires...I would LOVE to read your take on that.

And thanks! Yes, I think Amazon is just showing the very first bit. Or a little out of the beginning, anyway.
You're the bee's knees, Champ.
...I'm not having any luck finding one at the moment, and besides-I'd like to have an autographed copy, decided I'd rather have a tangible, touchable read, ya know?....You're the bee's knees, Champ.
