I am an advocate for Dan Brown. :smile2: I agree Dan Brown is a bad writer. But his novels are not literary works. Dan Brown is a teacher how to read between the lines and how to develop research imagination.

I think you're on to something here. Dan Brown isn't the worst writer I've come across, but his stories are well-researched. He did a great job getting across the fundamentals of noetics in The Lost Symbol.

What you're doing is interesting to me. A society of invalid friends....that tells me that the "invalids" aren't really ill or invalid. They're probably considered different in some way and therefore are labeled "invalid". Kind of like the mutants in X-Men, right? (That's a crap analogy, but you know what I mean.)

I belonged to the Elks for a while for no other reason than they had a nice workout room that I used during lunches.

Between the lines I have read that people called "young deers" ( ofarim in Hebrew) were connected with secret arbitrators.

Between the lines they are described as invalids (people were torn by beasts, weavers had crushed tips of fingers, tar-workers -- cut off earlobes) but I think that later the word "invalid" became as a label and much people only immitated one. Although I think that true secret elite of this society obliged to be invalids really. And I have a big suspiction about SK's accident... Very specific date...

What like illuminati or something?
