Is it true that you can see the stars if you are at the bottom of a well, and look up, no matter what time of day it is? Or was it an urban myth? Or am I completely stupid? (I believe the latter stands more of a chance of being true). Whose going to try on my behalf? :)

I just tried this, but hit my head on the way down. So, yeah, I was seeing stars.
