I recently started binge watching the show Sons of Anarchy. I like it! I'm in the second season, and ay the beginning of one of the episodes, they played this song. (An all time favorite of mine!)

Very 'meh' on the show, but it certainly has some fantastic music! Two of my favorites:

I'm starting to understand what you mean; in one episode they just killed off a good portion of the cast.

I love Linda Ronstadt from this era. Her voice on this song is so pure. It is such a shame that she can no longer sing. Such a cruel turn of events for her.

I love her...would try to make myself sound like her growing up. Even live, her voice was so strong and emotional.

Yeah, that was cruel. I hated to learn this. Both Ronstadt and Emmy Lou Harris have unique voices I've always liked. There are just certain songs that, without fail, open the flood gates of memory. The '70s were a great time for songwriting.

Haven't listened to all of it yet, but what I've heard so far ... I like ... a lot .. it's bizarre, but creative ..and how can one not seek that out? Why so many hate the end result I don't know .. maybe it was a strange match . .but surely not as out-of-place and jarring as Metallica and Lady GaGa will more than likely be?
