doowopgirl and myself celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary by going out for a nice dinner at the Bijou restaurant in Dublin, Ireland.

Went to Colorado Springs with Grandma to my small state convention. Renewed friendships. Gave a seminar, which was quite well received. Sold 20 of my titles.

Came back home to a nearly complete refurbished master bath. Eldest son came over for the weekly pilgrimage to watch the Broncos with me, and they won.

It was a pretty good weekend.

If there’s a double treat with Pumpkin Spice and Kandi Korn I’m bringing my banana!

Okay I got the banana and whip cream thing but what sexual innuendo is pumpkin spice and kandi korn?

Anyway, I was feeling like I was going to quit the horror host gig. Each week I put it off more and more. It wasn't as fun as it was when I started. I felt I was phoning it in (actually I'm Wetransfering it in). Then my grand daughters spent the night with us over the weekend and it turns out I'm a celebrity with the kids at her school. She said they go, "Oh wow your papaw is Count Eeflac! Cool!". I was wondering was anyone watching and it turns out my main audience is junior high kids. It was the best news I could hear. When I first came here I commented how I loved Sivad's horror show when I was a kid and now I'm returning the favor with a new generation. I put three new episodes in the can the next day.

I had made a comment about Pumpkin Spice and Candy Corn (Kandi Korn) sounding like the names of adult film stars.

Cool on the horror hosting gig! You're in with the Gen Z crowd. Woot! Woot!
