Working until 4......at least I think I'll be finished at 4. The last two weeks have been a crazy kind of busy. Haven't even had time for lunch....not that I'm complaining, I like being busy.....but you'd think that I would have at least lost a few pounds

I'm in hell, y'all. I've been packing, moving, unpacking, and helping my boss relocate to 3 different places from 2 different places this past month. I've hit a wall. I'm sitting here at my desk, insisting I had very important stuff to do, but really I'm eating banana bread and cherries visiting the SKMB. I doubt I'll have time to finish my whining and complaining before the board closes. Let me just say - do everyone in your life a favor and don't keep what's not necessary. Toss your junk mail every day, if you haven't opened a box in 10 years, send it to be shredded - you do not need to keep everything that holds a memory - memories live in your heart not in the material objects they are connect too. Your kids or admins will thank you And someone needs to invent a user friendly packing tape. I'd say at least 25% of my time has been spent fishing the packing tape back off the roll or bandaging my shredded knuckles from the tape gun teeth. I swear I'm dying. I'm turning off my phone and going to the lake this weekend. A little time at the water with no background noise but the birds will fix me right up. Plus, I'll have a new boss when I come back to work. Weird.

I should be taking your advice as I'm in the process of moving the contents of my garage (and the attic storage area above it) to the new garage I've had built so I can turn the old one into a craft studio. I'm moving boxes that got put there 10 years ago after moving from my old house and still haven't been opened and yet I told myself that when I put them there that I would sort everything out once I was moved in and had the time to do it. Still hasn't happened and now I'm moving them again telling myself the same thing. The voice in my head is saying, "But this time I really will do it!" and the other voice (don't scoff, you all know you have these voices in your head, too ;;D) is saying, "yeah, right!"

Hope you have a wonderful time at the lake! I can't wait to go on vacation next week and get to the beach for much the same reasons--other than the boss thing. That would be weird.

Absolutely agree. When my mom moved down she brought everything but the kitchen sink. Files with papers from 20 years back!

Catch your breath Holly, and come back refreshed, and ready to do it all again.
I cleaned out my bedroom not long ago. I had tax papers from 15 years ago in one box!
I got rid of clothes I no longer wear, and shoes, and took them uptown to put in the box thing for people to be able to use. I had a new pair of work shoes that I never wore. Hopefully someone got use of them.
Just junk I have collected over the years.

I can kind of relate, but this time it's all of my crap. I am planning on moving out on my own next spring, and I am slowley de cluttering and organing, so when I do move I can just put stuff in boxes, etc.. and I am finding just total crap. I have learned a lession not to stock pile stuff, like pens, notepad Paper, craft supplies that I can easily replace if needed, notecards. I am talking about li,e one huge bin of each. It's also hard when you work in a thrift store, lol.
