I'd love to visit Castle Rock. Have a few beers at The Mellow Tiger, do some Christmas shopping at Needful Things and Pop Merrill's Emporium Galorium. Have lunch at Nan's Luncheonette and then get the heck outta town before dark.

Anything by Edgar Allen Poe, I've read a lot of scary books and short stories but Poe's stuff gives me the most chills I've ever felt looking at words. "The Tell-tale Heart" would definetly be my pick for the most disturbing story Ive ever read, especially when I first heard it at age 6 from a campfire stories event.
The Hp lovecraft mythos would not be a good place to be in either.
