I'd like to see some of the other revolutions of ka. One where Mordred attacked the taheen instead of Mia, one where Trampas truly Became, one where Lamla o' Galee never fell down dead.

The Doctor's Case is a locked room mystery.I'd like to see Uncle Stevie write a cozy, locked room mystery. And a novel set in Maryland.
I wish he would write about the Wendigo..
Taken out of context, this could be damning.Whatever excites him. Cause then it will excite me.
And I'm quite fine with any context that can be dreamed up!Taken out of context, this could be damning.

I enjoy stories about insanity told from the view of the insane. There have been times when what I know to be reality has taken a detour and you either ignore it or scratch your head and figure there has to be SOME explanation. What you can't do is forget. I once talked to a guy who said when he was off his meds he heard voices. He knew perfectly well they were not real but it still did not shut them up. My instances have been very sporatic and often supported by those I was with but it makes them no less strange. I feel that we must all have a few times when it seems what we experience cannot be real.
I second this. Algernon Blackwood did a good job but it is such a strange creature for the indians to have in their lore. Seriously odd when compared to most mythos.
Yer my Brother, Sai kingricefan. This is what it's going to feel like when our beloved Marsha retir........er.......can't type it, just can't type it.....
Your post reminds me of something I've occasionally considered, that the human mind is constructed essentially a certain way, with places which, in some cases, tend to crack. To me the difference between a sane person and one who is not is not a very big one, and the idea that we're all closer to a certain dangerous edge than we are necessarily consciously aware seems at least possible. This suggests that none of us really know where we stand in terms of that edge, so that no one is necessarily safe from it. I believe society is subconsciously aware, however; collectively so, and fear of going over that edge causes us to behave badly, to isolate those who are weaker, to make some weaker or decide that they are, in order to create an artifical barrier against that edge filled with those we deem lesser fortunate.I enjoy stories about insanity told from the view of the insane.
