I thought you were avoiding looking at it!!! Of course, you are the Moderator, forced to view all posts no matter what. I'm sorry. Please stop showing that stinking snake!!! I HATE SNAKES!!!
I wonder where it came from if it is "invasive" - so that means it is not native to the Southern US?That freaking snake opening the door himself... yeah, that will be in the dream tonight... Have to remember my magic sword or sharpened hoe...and the other one that looked as if it ate someone or something big..d@#n!
Heres one for you. It's called a snakehead fish or frankenfish. This invasive species is able to leave the water and propel itself across land. Think about this for a minute, it has wiped out many natural species here and is carnivorous. In the local waters, in Maryland, the Potomac, in the Southern US. Oh good!Well, I don't own them, they live in the river behind my house....
I did use to hand-feed them though. My kid got bitten by one by mistake once, he picked it up--thought it was a stick... it left a nasty scrape/bite mark, he cried a bit and then carried on swimming.Oh good!
That hurts. I'm glad your kid didn't get eaten. I imagine you are, too. Usually.I did use to hand-feed them though. My kid got bitten by one by mistake once, he picked it up--thought it was a stick... it left a nasty scrape/bite mark, he cried a bit and then carried on swimming.
(Apologies to those that have heard this one before...)
Yeah.. usually... except for right now--he just came in the room and all but demanded that I give him the computer. (He's become a teen since that bite... grrr)That hurts. I'm glad your kid didn't get eaten. I imagine you are, too. Usually.
