He didn't have the flu the last time we saw him so where did he go? Do you think he eventually made it to the Boulder free zone?

...I'm not placing this character, and I even reviewed "the cast" from the SKMB library site, where novel "participants" are exhaustively listed....He didn't have the flu the last time we saw him so where did he go? Do you think he eventually made it to the Boulder free zone?

....ahhhh, yes......after receiving the reins of the disaster, I would say that Len probably succumbed-considering he was at Ground Zero.....Creighton was the one who took over from Starkey, I think his first name was Len.

....what a SteveSleuth!......
...welcome Mitchell!....they were at the heart of the facility and behind a large amount of pressurized doors which kept the bug from getting to them at that moment.....that's my theory anyhoo….I never quite understood this either, I'm reading the book again, both Creighton and Starkley appear to be in the base where captain trips originated, they were coordinating the military response yet did not appear affected by the disease which had killed almost everyone else on the base. No mention of symptoms either.
I just kind of assumed that given that the base was used for developing chemical warfare, they must of been in an area that was locked down and the virus hadnt yet got there.
The mini series makes this even more confusing as they are not even wearing any protective clothing.
Ironically, Michael Crichton died of complications from the flu....The dude who wrote those books about those dinosaurs? Whatwasitcalled, Triassic Playground? I'm pretty sure he's dead.
