What to do...

Ok, so, my original plan was to finish the Shining and Doctor sleep then go back to the beginning and work my way through. I have Carrie and Salem's Lot ready to go....My brother has just got me The Stand (Audiobook) now I cant decide weather to stick with said plan or listen to The Stand!!??

Is the audiobook the '77 or '90 version? If it's the 77 version it falls 5th or 6th in the list anyway, judging by how fast you finished Dr Sleep you'll get to it in no time. If it's the 1990 version, then you could just cheat and read it as if it were the 77, depends how strict you want to be with yourself.

Hmm, I'm not sure which addition it is, It was sent to me as an MP3, how would i know which it was? Is there a difference? As I am reading through the Novels first The Stand is 4th on the list so not far off at all, (If we are assuming it is the 77 version haha!)

The uncut audiobook is apparently around 144 hours long. I don't know if there is an abridged version but I imagine it would be considerably shorter - the original had 400 pages cut from the manuscript. The main differences are "The Kid" and trashcan man's journey to Vegas. It was also brought up to date.

It says it is 147 hours long in the one I have.
