...an awesome start....I will say that for the show....Thanks Jordan. I've been trying to figure out how to watch it. Don't have Direct TV or AT&T.

I want King to play a cameo as a security guard at some place, like in a building or at a wharehouse or on the wharves. I know King has a cameo in It, son I looking forward to It.
Ok, just one episode, but I have to say....
YES!! THIS is how you adapt a book into a show!!!
There were little adjustments to the timeline. Added character in the neighbor lady. But everything that was different could be seen as implied in the book. (Except for neighbor lady.)
Brendan Gleeson IS Hodges. Harry Treadaway is awesome as Brady. I thought Anton Yelchin was a great choice, may he rest in peace, but Treadaway is a really great replacement, and fits more to what I imagined Brady to look like.
Some other thoughts..
The opening scene was brutal.
The Pet Semetary song was a nice touch, made me chuckle.
Kelly Lynch is creepy gross as Brady's mom. Loved her line, "Can't be all work and no play."
Brady's basement set up is spot on.
The "Out of Work? Depressed?" computer button reminded me of the game we got to play when the book came out.
I really liked the change from just an email in letter form to Hodges to a visual type email/message. That seemed like a Brady thing to do.
Ty (who is 10 and maybe should not be watching but I love sharing SK stuff with my kids) said, What is with Stephen King and clowns?? (Referring to clown mask Brady wears in the Mercedes.)
Definite YES from me so far. Was really good!
There will be a King cameo in Mr. Mercedes -- but he doesn't cameo in It as far as I know.
fushingfeefIn order to watch this, I'd have to order DirecTV Now, but it's not clear to me which plan is the one that would include "Mr. Mercedes" (and other originals). Does anyone know? None of them are particularly cheap, either--the bare bones plan is still $35 a month, that's a lot just to watch one series that may or may not be available under that plan.
fushingfeefHmm I wonder what channel 239 is called? They don't have channel numbers on DirecTV Now's signup site.
