Youth is wasted on the young.Wasn't born... nor even a twinkle in my father's eye.
We meet again today! Your story's like mine. I was 8 years old and waiting in line to get back in school after lunch and recess. Soon an odd mumbling started, including gun, president, shot. We were all confused until another 8-year-old jumped out of line and said, "You idiots, the president's been shot." Then he pretended to take two six-shooters out of his pocket. Bam! Bam! Bam! We got it. But nobody thought JFK would die. The announcement came over the intercom about 40 minutes later. Incredibly sad. And this was New Orleans, conspiracy central. I think 11/22/63 is great, but I disagree with SK's ultimate conclusion.7th grade. First our homeroom teacher gave us the news although at that point, it was only known he'd been shot. Not long after a school assembly was called where we were told he had been killed. Everyone was in shock although at that age we didn't fully comprehend all the nuances of what it meant for the country. The next 4 days was probably our first exposure to today's 24 hour news cycle as that was all that was on TV as everyone was glued to the set watching live and having the second shock and disbelief when Oswald was murdered while watching in real time.

He writes, in a little afterword, that in his opinion Oswald did it. Alone and without any kind of help. I think that is the conclusion that is referred to.what sk conclusion ?
