I wish you would. I think you would really enjoy it. There are only three of them and they are all here in Tn. I been to them all but the two are quite a ways away. but makes a nice family outing for the day.

if you're referring to mckays (did we talk about them before, i feel like we did) they also opened a couple in north carolina. i hope they continue spreading, they're easily the best used bookstore i've ever been in. half price books isn't bad, but mckays has them beat for sure.

Half Price has gone 'corporate' somewhat as in they've been selling the new releases at a 30% discount instead of the used-to-be 50% off. I think it's hurt their business somewhat. But, I have always been able to find good deals at the ones in the Seattle area. Once found an original 1st printing of The Running Man on clearance for 25 cents!

I wish they would put a HPB here in Spokane. There's really no competition here other than Auntie's books in downtown and they're high priced.

even if they do, chances are you'd have to wait for a bit for people to bring good stuff in. they opened one fairly close to me and i went in not long after, and the selection wasn't great. i think they got their initial stock from overages/extras from other stores, as in, everything people already own or bring a million copies of to trade.

Mckays prices very. But also can find very good deals. I found a first printing of the Running Man in there free book bin. Also found a hard copy of 999 in there. Also bought a signed book by Bev vincent.

i gave up and ordered them online. idk where becca lives, but there must not be many fans around lol. i checked with some hot topics and they all sold out the first day they got them.
I'm in Delaware and usually all the HTF POPs are grabbed up super fast. I usually order online but got really lucky this time with all the SK POPs. The only ones I've ordered online are the FYE exclusive Pennywise and Jack Torrance Chase.
Still waiting to see what's up with the Walmart Pennywise exclusive and Target's Grady Twins exclusive.

I really like the wig variant. That was one of my favorite scenes. Once you jump on the POP wagon, it's hard to fall off!

I don't think a lot of folks are too keen on the 'hair' one which means that it'll be super collectable in the future and very pricey....
