New Deluxe Edition of HANSEL & GRETEL
Posted: May 15th, 2026 4:44:43 pmA new deluxe edition of Hansel and Gretel from Hodder & Stoughton will be coming soon for pre-orders through Special Edition Books, alongside a limited numbered edition signed by Stephen King himself.
Hansel and Gretel is a must-have reimagining of the Brothers Grimm fairy tale, retold by worldwide bestselling author Stephen King, with artwork by the Caldecott Medal-winning creator of Where the Wild Things Are, Maurice Sendak. Sendak's illustrations were originally created as set and costume designs for the Humperdinck opera of Hansel and Gretel in 1997.
This lovingly designed deluxe edition will be treasured for generations to come, featuring a personal introduction by Stephen King, unique cover art, a resplendent slipcase, and exclusive collectible prints created in close collaboration with the Sendak Foundation. Please note that both the signed and unsigned editions will only be available for customers outside the US, Canada, and Philippines.
