No... in Spideys thread, she has an article that explains it isn't...but we will be able to see it several times within the next year and a half.

I just read there are going to be four Blood Moons over the next year or so. This isn't as rare as you'd think. It happened in 2003 - 2004 and will happen seven more times by the end of the century. The full moon in October traditionally has been called "Hunter's Moon" or "Blood Moon" but in 2015 it will actually BE a Blood Moon for reals.
