Not sure whether you are asking a serious question or not blunthead , but a "cock horse" means a high-spirited horse although it is also a pretend hobby horse.
There is still a Hobby Horse Festival in Banbury every July.

I see that somebody mentioned SK do his take on Jack The Ripper. I wouldn't particularly want to see another Ripper story, as it's been way over done, but I have always wished SK would do a horror story set in Victorian era London. That is a very rich and evocative historical period and I bet he would come up with a dandy story.
