It's a Kindle e-book.Is UR available in book format? I always thought it was a spoken CD? I recall getting it from the library but it was very scratched so I told them I did not want it.

Oh - okay thanks! (don't read in that format) - yetIt's a Kindle e-book.
It's Kindle and audiobook but not yet out in print. Chances are it will be in the collection next year but as I'd mentioned, the final list hasn't been decided so can't guarantee that yet.Is UR available in book format? I'm only ging to say this once and not belabor it. Also, this is not only directed at you FireGurl, but many others on this board who are resisting e-books.I'm old fashioned I only read hand held books. So, it is a real bummer that I can't get any e-books, ibooks, or kindle stories from Stephen King. I wish they would go to a normal book. Something about holding a real book in your hand. So many titles on kindle n such, that I can't read em. Not to mention I have an Iphone 3GS so that means I can't get an ibook app. Arrrggg!

Reading e-books is not akin to signing a pact with the devil. It's 2014 and e-books are a natural progression of the written word. After all, before e-books, were we still reading hand-written pages written by monks holed up in a monastery? No. Gutenberg invented the printing press and the printed word came about. And, there have been many, many modernizations to that printed word since Gutenberg. So, embrace the world of e-books... they're not that scary!!!
Nooooooooooooooooo....it's like taking the "Mark of the Beast". I can't do it. J/K Seriously, though....I will either have to upgrade my phone, which just ticks me off about Apple. 6 months and your phone becomes obsolete. Or buy a kindle. Technology I tell ya. Gonna go broke buying all this stuff..lol.I'm only ging to say this once and not belabor it. Also, this is not only directed at you FireGurl, but many others on this board who are resisting e-books.

I have a more recent iPhone so maybe that's the difference, but there is a Kindle app for iPhones.Nooooooooooooooooo....it's like taking the "Mark of the Beast". I can't do it. Gonna have to look into that. My son would know more about it than I. Thanks for the head's up.I have a more recent iPhone so maybe that's the difference, but there is a Kindle app for iPhones.
I was dead set against e books at one time. I was missing Sk stuff that came out as e books. So I took the dive. I've never looked back. While new SK books will always be a hard copy, I find e books very handy. I have a Kindle wish list that makes it easy for people to buy me presents. As has been said it doesn't have to be either or.I'm only ging to say this once and not belabor it. I have never experienced any kind of eye strain with an actual Kindle itself; it's only the Kindle app for my iPad and iPhone that I cannot read for long. To me, the Kindle itself is just like reading a book.If I spend too long on a computer or e-book reader, I get severe eye strain and even a headache at times. The shorter stories don't bother me that much, but the longer ones cause me problems.
