He'll know where I am!
Update:
I got my first ultrasound today! I got to see my little blob and his little heartbeat. I cried!
Everything's looking good. Due date is February 23rd.
We can't decide if he looks more like a Velociraptor, Snoopy, or a mad scientist.Awww... first time blobby pics are precious.
Time will help with that....We can't decide if he looks more like a Velociraptor, Snoopy, or a mad scientist.

He is your first child Shasta?
Yay!
How are you feeling? Nausea? Sleepy?
May I offer some advice? Walk. Talk to your doctor first and do some research but I have to say, walking helped me with my pregnancy, labor and recovery.
Be safe, healthy and happy.
Peace.
This was me with the youngest. He was rough.I didn't vomit but had morning, noon, and night nausea for the first 4 months of every pregnancy which almost like magic just went away somewhere around the 18th-20th week. One day it was there and the next it wasn't, or so it seemed at the time. Smaller meals spaced evenly through the day rather than the typical 3/meals/day work for some people. Saltines. You've probably heard all this, though. Once you hit the second trimester things get a lot better as far as the exhaustion and nausea. Definitely get as much exercise as you can throughout as it will help with keeping you in shape for delivery and a speedier bounce-back after and walking out in the fresh air on the beach sounds like a great plan.
And so worth whatever you go through in the end.I was the worst feeling with my daughter. I don't know if there is something to that wives' tale that says you will be sicker with the opposite sex than your first? (or in my case, two, the oldest two are both boys) I was so nauseous I wished I could vomit. With all four of them though, toothpaste brought on gagging, no matter what brand, flavor, etc. Not really something I could just stay away from!
Just remember, Shasta, it will pass! You will feel pretty amazing fairly soon.

My first, had some but very little.
And in fact, my doctor had me use a suppository for my unrelenting sick. I had a friend say to me, "aren't you embarrassed to use suppositories?" and I said, "If the doctor told me to stick a carrot up my a** and I would feel better, I would so do it."
That was it. THat's what I used and I pretty much did too. My youngest was a challenging pregnancy, a difficult baby and was always the one I had to be more stubborn than.I had to take phenegran my entire pregnancy with my youngest. It was like being car sick all day every day. And there was a 2 year old to tend to. How'd I live through that? Sounds like Shasta may have dodged this horror.
By all means. You mind if I borrow this for my beauty tip thread?
