Dr. Oz says mosquitoes hate grapes, so don't offer them any.

You can make your own with kosher salt, almond oil, olive oil, and essential oils (I love peppermint in a salt scrub). The oils won't make you break out because the scrub is mainly salt.
Plus the pest control smell sounds like a better deal than the noxious raid smell.i LOVE this idea and i LOVE peppermint oil... i buy oils (peppermint, lemon and orange) from the local candy shoppe... a few drops in the bath is awesome. AND, if you have an old house like i do (1903) and you get the occasional spidery pest, a few drops of peppermint oil (mixed with some water in a spray bottle if you like) keeps them at bay. Pests can't abide peppermint because it messes with their nervous system. Smells great, works like a charm.

I love this idea. I'm a no chemical gal, so we just co-exist with our brown recluses. I actually like the non-brown recluse spiders, because they keep the recluses away. I'm going to spray the baseboards with some peppermint oil. I know it sounds weird, but the peppermint/rosemary scrub is soooo scrumptious - especially in the mornings for a little wake up scent. I have a book on face yoga. I won it at librarything. Face yoga, if consistent, does work. All these tips are awesome.
I focus on my neck. Prevent chin/neck wattle. (Someone posted about putting on oil on face and showering/steaming. I do that with my neck )

Has anyone tried the sea salt body scrubs? I tend toward oily skin but I can't use anything too harsh.
Peace.
Honey never goes bad, supposedly, so it's shelf life is forever. I think they've opened up Egyptian tombs and found honey and it was still edible. Honey is used it all sorts of beauty mask recipes.I’m curious. There are several lavender farms near me. A local shop I was in over the weekend sells “Pure Lavender Honey” made from honey bees on one of those farms. I almost bought it because the shop owner says it always sells out fast (but went with the beef jerky instead ). Has anybody ever tried it, and would it have any benefits other than taste?

I use tan towels too.I've used Tan Towels-they are sold at the nicest spa/salon in town and they have a pleasant smell and work very well!
A gradual tanning lotion that is extremely affordable (they might even carry it at Walmart) and smells AMAZING is Malibu Tan Hemp Bronzing Lotion...
I used this product when I made a life mask of my kid.Hey Lily!
Instead of Vaseline (which is mineral oil-a petroleum by-product) you should try something I found at the health food store. It's called Alba Un-petroleum Jelly. Same consistency as Vaseline and can be used for all the same stuff, but sooooooo much better for you!
I use coconut oil in my homemade deodorant.I was looking at popcorn recipes and wondered why so many recipes listed coconut oil as an ingredient as I'd always thought it was one of the "bad" fats. So I searched coconut oil on amazon to read reviews. I was surprised to discover reviewers rated coconut oil as a 5-star skin and hair moisturizer rather than a cooking ingredient. Have any of y'all tried coconut oil as a moisturizer?
My mom and I would go to the mall and both of us would have to pull our shirts up over our noses and hold our breath as we scampered past the candle place. A whole store of scented candles is overwhelming and mix it with the smell of burnt caramel corn coming from the vendor next door, it immediately gave us headaches.I have a hard time even walking into or too close to that store. I do like the scents, but they're overwhelming en masse. I can't breathe & turn red if I'm inside for more than a couple of minutes.
