Oh, crap, this is about neighbors, not about our house.
They're fine. When we first got here, we were all mostly tight. Someone would be out in the cul-de-sac for some reason. Someone else would come out to say hi. Someone else would come up. Then someone would go inside and come back with a six-pack. It might stop a half hour later, or we might be laughing at 11:00 pm with beer and wine bottles rolling around on someone's deck.
The blizzard of '03 was a huge bonding experience. Huge.
But people have moved out and been replaced by others not so... well, not so cool. So wow we're not tight, but we're cordial. It's fine. And my neighbor who saved my life (it's in another thread) is still here, and we're still tight.
I'm thinking we need a neighborhood party. See if we can get some bonds re-formed.
