I'm not pretending and as someone who had inside knowledge about the event beforehand, I can assure you that the intention of the library was to make it available to the public if the corporate sponsorships did not sell out. This is not the first event that Stephen has done in the area and probably will not be the last so I'm having a little difficulty understanding the level of outrage about it. I get it that you and others are disappointed but there have been and will be other opportunities for events to attend and as I'd pointed out, even if this event had had all 300+ seats available to the public, there was no guarantee that every person who wanted to attend would have been able to do so as it likely would have been a sellout. That is the reality and it has nothing to do with feeling that some people are more worthy than others for attendance.
