Greetings,
just call me Nik. Its not my real name, but when it comes to anonymous discussion, I find those overestimated. I am from Eastern European country, Slovakia, and I´ve started reading mr. King after as a kid I got my hands on several Hitchcock books and read them thousand times. Understand, those books were back from the time of socialism and getting your hands on Western authors which dealt with this genera was extremely complicated unless they were published by local publisher, and naturally went through censorship commission. That was the case with Hitchcock. That was not the case with King. The first one was Cujo and these were the first type of proper books I ever read in English, what, ironically, made it as educational and linguistic book for me.
The irony.
Anyways, no one will most likely read this but alas, two decades later here I am.
Cheers
