I told this story on the old board, but I'll do it here on this one because it's a great story.

My brother is not a cat person. We've had cats and dogs always while I was growing up, but for some reason, he was a dog guy only. Well, he's an older man now and he actually rescued a cat and brought it home. A month earlier, his wife rescued one, so he now has 2 cats.

Well, one day he was standing at his door watching the neighborhood and faraway, he could see his cat coming down the sidewalk with something in his mouth. He puffed his chest up with pride that his cat was a good mouser. (he lives next to a farmer's field and they have mouse issues big time, so this is a huge plus for a cat in his home to pull its weight.) Anyway, he yelled at his wife to come look-- come look at my wonderful mouser cat.

Well, the cat gets closer and closer and comes up to him at the door and drops -- HIS TOY MOUSE! He literally took his toy mouse with him on walkabout AND BROUGHT IT HOME! What a smart cat in my book.

Just like Duck Dynasty - he was using it as a decoy - smart pussy! ;)
