I can understand what you are saying but I feel the American people have a right to know who killed him after all their loss and suffering. JMOI don't get why you go public with this info. Just don't understand it at all. Everyone wants their 15 minutes I guess.
I understand that point somewhat, but the undertaking of taking out Bin Laden was such a team effort, so many thousands of people involved, analysts, intelligence agents, troops, SEALS. The guy that actually pulled the trigger doesn't matter. More to the point, why would you want to put a bulls eye on your back letting the world know you were the one who did pull the trigger. It seems like anonymity would be the thing you would crave after your team pulled off a raid such as the one that took out Bin Laden. Everyone involved deserves credit but just not sure it's the right way to go about it.I can understand what you are saying but I feel the American people have a right to know who killed him after all their loss and suffering. I am glad to know that he died a coward's death like a lot of monsters do....trying to use a woman as a shield.I understand that point somewhat, but the undertaking of taking out Bin Laden was such a team effort, so many thousands of people involved, analysts, intelligence agents, troops, SEALS. I agree.
That guy has just made himself and his family a target for terrorists. Not a wise move, in my opinion.
I think ghost isn't speaking of you, staro, when he uses the pronoun "you" here. Am I right, ghost?I don't get why you go public with this info. Just don't understand it at all. Everyone wants their 15 minutes I guess.
I knew he wasn't referring to me Blunt. Thanks though sweetie.I think ghost isn't speaking of you, staro, when he uses the pronoun "you" here. Am I right, ghost?
I'm just glad he is dead.
Though it seems they have unlimited supply of terrorists over there smh
Matt for some reason this year I am dreading November 11. After what happened here in Canada, I will be worried. I loved when I cooked at the Legions on Remembrance Day. It was so moving....all the Mounties wearing red serge....all the vets and officers. And plenty from the west willing to join them, by all accounts.
I do wonder how all this is going to end.
When I first read ghost's post I thought he was referring to you.I knew he wasn't referring to me Blunt. Thanks though sweetie.
Yep...but he wasn't because I did not break this news story. My headline was a lot better than the other reporters, though. lolWhen I first read ghost's post I thought he was referring to you.

I read about the burning poppies. Pretty crazy stuff. The price we pay for freedom of speech.I don't blame you for being nervous. There's no doubting that this problem is getting worse.
I fully expect there to be protests on Remembrance Day at the very least. We'll here in the UK, anyway.

You are exactly right. I was speaking of the SEAL himself going public. I cry your pardon if it appeared I was referring to you ma'am.I think ghost isn't speaking of you, staro, when he uses the pronoun "you" here. Am I right, ghost?
Yes, I see your point as well. I see all your points and they are well thought out, my friend.Okay. I don't wanna talk outta my gluteus. I haven't looked at the articles. But if the actual shooter's identity is revealed, I have thoughts:
The mission to Abbottabad was an incredible military accomplishment. Not since the raid on Entebbe have we had a venture fire up the imagination and admiration of armed forces' capacity.
The ethic of that group is that it was an accomplishment for all. That ethic should be respected. Even their Commander in Chief (President Obama) didn't ask, and they didn't tell. It's easy enough to grasp. You highlight the guy who happened to be the shooter, and it detracts from the awesome work done by the others to make it happen.
So if someone went rogue to finger the shooter, even if that shooter was himself, it's wrong and a betrayal of of his mates and of the elite unit's ethic, the unit that got him to that point.
