Yup, I have stitches. I have 5 incisions, less than a inch across. The one that hurts the most is the upper right side of my tummy. They gave me a prescription of Percocet, but I don't want to take them. That is a strong pain reliever. Even in the hospital I wouldn't take them. I take 2 extra strength Tylenol, and I'm good.
One nurse was funny. The night of my surgery she wanted to know if I wanted a pain killer, and I told her I didn't need any. She looked at me, and said, 'you're not lying are you?' I told her I wasn't, and she said she never had a patient that didn't complain! So, her and, I bickered the rest of the night! She made me smile.
Oh Sweet Biddy! I'm Sorry, haven't been following this closely...so you had your surgery... Rest easy luv...you'll be back to your sparky self in no time.

The woods are lovely dark and deep
Only if it's sugar free, Holly. My daughter actually made me pancakes, and eggs this morning. :)
Frank, I am getting stronger every day. Thank you for asking. I have very little pain, but man does it hurt to cough, or laugh. Yesterday, I sneezed, and I thought I was coming apart! Not fun.
When you feel the need to sneeze or cough hug a firm pillow to your tum, that'll give support from outside.

Ha! - good one! He is in the jail cell (in the book) and they are going to try to break him out. It is so different from the TV series! I like to read it a bit every night before I fall asleep (have not had any dreams of Barbie yet though - drat!) :star:
