Oh my! Wherever will the many of the 30 and under crowd get their news from now?

That's a great idea because every other host would be compared to Jon Stewart and would come up lacking IMO. I know he wasn't the first host (Craig Kilborn was) but after 16 years he's become "the" host.
Why am I thinking of Johnny Carson all the sudden?
FOX must be ecstatic. Who will they have to call them out on their lies?Oh my! Wherever will the many of the 30 and under crowd get their news from now?
"Lies?" What lies?FOX must be ecstatic. Who will they have to call them out on their lies?
That's what "they" said."Lies?" What lies?
LOL. Perhaps Comedy Central will get the same person or people who call out the rest of the media (other than Fox News) for the lies told and stupid stuff said. That's what "they" said.
Wouldn't be much of a stretch--they already do. It's just that FOX is the biggest offender so they're the ones brought up more often.LOL. Perhaps Comedy Central will get the same person or people who call out the rest of the media (other than Fox News) for the lies told and stupid stuff said.

John Oliver would be a great choice now that you mention it. He came into his own when he took over while Jon Stewart was on his sabbatical. I don't have HBO so haven't watched the show he does there and haven't heard if it's doing well. I really like Jessica Williams but not sure if she could carry the interview part of the show never having seen her do that other than in the comedy part of the show.I think the Daily Show itself has developed enough talent to replace Stewart. I think John Oliver could do a good job, though I don't know if he is available because he's on HBO. Jessica Williams is pretty good too. They probably won't be as good as Stewart, but I think the Daily Show needs to keep on going.

Thanks for the heads up--didn't know you could watch it on youtube. I suppose with the right offer he might be convinced to come back to The Daily Show.John Oliver posts his show for free legally on youtube.
He's had a lot of success on HBO.
No, they're still able to be embedded here unless there's something from youtube or the copyright owner that prevents it.Have youtube videos disappeared from this site for anyone else or is it just me?
Stewart feuded with Keith Olberman, Rachel Maddow, Jim Cramer and Rick Sanchez on CNN. Stewart was also the reason CNN's Crossfire was canceled. Ya, he only picked on Fox News. lol
Yeah, he picked on MSNBC, CNN and others on occasion, but The Daily Show built itself primarily on going after FoxNews. Saying he goes after them all would be like me giving an equal importance of Randall Flagg to Bobby Terry in The Stand. Pails by comparison.
Even The Atlantic wrote today: “When Jon Stewart retires from The Daily Show after more than 16 years as its anchor, his replacement should do the unthinkable: stop targeting the Fox News Channel.”
