Me, too - I switched to Firefox from IE and I prefer it.I have been using Mozilla Firefox for sometime and find it superior to Google Chrome... personally, anyway....
I really loved my job, but, they changed my responsibilities in January and every day I hate it more and more....
Well that ain't right Are your new responsibilities lots more difficult? Or lots more boring?
Just different.... what isn't right about it (in my opinion) is that I was EXCELLENT at what I did. I understand why they did what they did, but, I'm a believer in keeping people in places where they shine and excel. But, I am not the boss, so... very depressing, I miss what I used to do like I would miss a person... (and I am working more with different people, so actually DO miss people as well....)
I think that's referred to as The Peter Principle, which states that a person will rise to his/her highest level of incompetence. That is if you were promoted. If you weren't then your boss sucks.Just different.... what isn't right about it (in my opinion) is that I was EXCELLENT at what I did. Hang in there. If your bosses have any class and wisdom they'll see your work ethic. It might pay off.It would be tolerable if it WERE a promotion. It's not because I didn't ask... I can be lazy but I do stand up for myself, and did, but... ? C'est la vie... not to be a whiner but, for me par for the course!

Niches are hard to find! I worked for the same place for 20 years and like you, I thought I'd found my niche (I was doing a job I somewhat liked and I was good at it), then got po'd by working hour changes and quit. Is there something keeping you at the place where you work - like built up vacation time?
I've been around long enough to have worked many jobs. A few I've loved, a few I've despised, most of them have fallen somewhere in between having qualities which I liked and didn't. In home care alone there've been cases I've loved and those I haven't. It seems a "good" job comes in waves.... makes me tired just talking about it. I just wanna make some money doing what I enjoy! Is that asking too much!!!??
Can't something just fall my way ONCE in my life!!!???
