I enjoy The Last Ship.
Grandma and I got the Firefly series to plug in.
It destroyed the weekend rather nicely for us. I recommend it.
We were Burn Notice aficionados. We still plug it in now and then to watch it. But to binge-watch for a couple days and see the whole thing through - Firefly.

It'll break your heart that it only lasted one season, though there was a movie made.
Until very recently I haven't been a fan of TV series (except growing up with The Wonderful World of Disney, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., the Wild Wild West, I Spy, Mission: Impossible, so on). Years ago I worked a case taking care of a young man's daughter who lived with him at home. The young man was a TV addict. There tends to be some downtime in home care and I ended up watching on TV some of whatever the dad wanted; one show was Firefly. I liked it for a few reasons: it was a scifi-western, a combo I'd not seen before; it was very well-produced with great costumes and other props; and the lead actor had an unusual gift for subtle humor while being a great, handsome, if anti, hero.Grandma and I got the Firefly series to plug in.

To whom are you speaking, n_n?Did you watch LOST when it was on?
Dexter - The first four seasons were good, but then it got bad, especially seasons 6 and 8.
I find that most series do progressively get worse after the first couple seasons.
When I have the tv on.. it's either cnn bbc or the ID channel . I haven't watched a sitcom or any kind of show other than investigation shows in years. Good luck with finding something you would enjoy.
although I wished they'd had Alan Alda get a haircut that was vaguely appropriate for the setting.
