Howdy. Fire in the Hole. Great story by Mr. Leonard.I also love the late great Elmore Leonard and his style and use of language is probably the biggest influence on me as a writer.
Nope, not him...This must be SK in disguise. I am sure of it. I can see it in my minds eye. ES, I guess the jokes on me.
The title has been altered to End of Watch now.
That is probably a better title than the original one
I am still reading Revival - I bought Finders Keepers but have not had time to start it yet.

Mr. Stephen King is the person who provides this site. So perhaps people took your comment the wrong way, that is all(emphasis added by moi)
Who is the "provider" of this site and how did I show any disrespect towards them? If you mean explaining the difference between a Steve and a Stevie, I calls 'em as I sees 'em. Nothing more, nothing less. I'm obviously a nerd too, but that doesn't mean I deny that there are such things as nerds or that nerds are not, in fact, nerds.
P.S. Thanks for the Elmore Leonard tip. Another great writer whose stuff there is no way I will ever read all of.

It was perhaps in the delivery? Also I guess, if you receive information that would refute heretofore knowledge of something, opening your mind up to it just a little bit, couldn't possibly hurt?
Perhaps book-types are often named "Stevie" rather than Steve... but this Stephen, doesn't like being called that and has made it clear to his PA, so I just passed that on to you.... as you seemed to be using it as a taunt, lets say.
Now, can we please get back to the business of not insulting people?

Erudite.. I do hope you like it here. There are some wonderful members here on the board. Communicating can be hard behind a keyboard.. people can take things the wrong way, very easily, as we all know. I hope you try again.
Welcome to SKMB .. where we are 'all' nerds AND we all float!
