Count me in as a "fast walker". I'm not talking about a nature hike, where I'll slow down to enjoy the scenery, I mean everyday out-and-about activities.
Why does everyone else plod along like slugs???? I am courteous about going politely around elderly or disabled people. Everyone else gets at least a loud sigh and a dirty look.
Other "goofy" things:
I won't watch a show that has a laugh track (or laughter from a studio audience). I feel like that's for people who don't get the jokes and need to be told what's funny.
Volume on the TV has to be at an even number OR end in a 5. Not sure why the 5 is ok, but it is.
I usually make my bed every morning, but on the rare occasion that I don't, I have to make my bed right before I get in at night. Can't fall asleep in an unmade bed.
If I am eating alone, I must be reading something.
My undergarments must match my outfit.
I drink tea after a meal to stop myself from eating anything else. When I don't drink tea, I'll keep eating, alternating sweet and salty foods until I get grossly full.
The feel of a pencil on paper is weird to me. Maybe that's why I hated math class - we weren't allowed to use a pen.
I have to wake up to an immaculate house and come home to an immaculate house. So, even though I clean during the day, I clean again before bed and before I walk out the door to go anywhere.
I do not judge other people by how clean or messy their house is, though. I only care that MY house is clean.
But I was a slob until I was in my late 20s.
I hate to be late for anything, and I will lie to my naturally tardy husband about the time of an event to get us there punctually.
I have certain foods and drinks I order at certain places.
I can only drink wine from a wine glass, not any other cup.
My daughter says that's how she knows I'm not an alcoholic.
No one else is allowed to load the dishwasher. I have it down to an exact science and I've even planned meals around whether I can fit certain plates/bowls in the machine afterwards.
I'm goofy in other ways too, but I need to get some laundry done now (I like the hampers to be empty whenever possible).
