My prayers are with you also, Marsha, and daughter, and baby.
Always know that the positive energy of many can move the heavens and earth -- I believe that. Can't wait for that baby to be here! But want it to stay in the momma for as long as possible.
Thank you so much! Happier times ahead and now I can get back to making cloth diapers and other baby stuff.Phew............that must have been a rough stretch, Ms Mod. Happy to hear everything is looking good now!!

They've changed quite a bit since those days. No pins and they're an all-in-one deal (the outer part is PUL waterproof fabric) with an insert you take out. Plus all the snaps make them adjustable from newborn to toddler. This was my first effort and I screwed it up a little so will use it as my sample instead but this gives you an idea of this century's cloth diapers. This isn't the thread for sullying, but my wife insisted on using cloth diapers. If I had a nickel for every time I pricked a finger on those damn pins I'd be living on an island next to Johnny Derp.
Those are pretty spiffy. They come in a men's large by any chance?
....my dear friend, this has added much cheer to an otherwise slice of humdrum.....bless all your hearts....And I would like to thank everyone for those prayers. I'd asked Spidey to put up an anonymous request because I didn't want to alarm anyone and wanted to have more information to pass along. As many of you know, my younger daughter is expecting her first child. About a month ago she'd had genetic testing done and the initial results came back with a possibility of a chromosome issue that most often causes severe mental and/or physical problems with the baby in which case termination was on the table. The next testing also came back positive so she had to go for amniocentesis. The overnight results again showed the trisomy 13 but all of these test results could have been either the baby or in the placenta. On Friday we received the wonderful news that the baby is just fine and the issue is in the placenta. To say that the past month has been stressful would be a huge understatement and if any of you noticed I was not participating as much and my patience level was a bit short, that is the reason why. The pregnancy will still be considered a high risk and she will be having additional ultrasounds done to make sure the baby is growing at as normal a rate as possible as sometimes they don't because the placenta isn't functioning optimally but will catch up after they're born. It could also mean that they will induce as early as 32 weeks if they don't like what they're seeing on the ultrasounds but we're hoping that she can go as close to full term as possible. The power of prayer from the ka tet has once again been miraculous. Thank you all.
So relieved for you and the family. What horrors y'all have suffered. Sounds like the med types are on the ball, couldn't ask for any better. I will pray that this beloved child comes through with a song for us all!And I would like to thank everyone for those prayers. Thank you and me, too!I am so glad your family has gotten this better news. I hope it's smooth sailing the rest of the pregnancy and that they don't need to induce to early.
I'm still catching up Marsha - but I am so happy for you all
Great news, Marsha!!
