Really? My Dad exposed me to alot of 60s music growing up and I always loved the sound of this one. Yvw. Glad you liked it.Never heard this song before but I really like it. Thanks for sharing, Doc.

And I remember it well. Makes me feel so old, especially the fact that it was $12.00 when I saw him in concert!!
To Nate.
Nomik, that's a great selection: never heard the acoustic version before.
Lynnie L, the first Springsteen song I recall as a kid was Hungry Heart. My sis had the Born in the USA album and I became an instant fan. Last year I got my hands on the remastered versions of all his albums up to BITU, and was blown away by Bruce's early work. Springsteen and John Mellencamp can do no wrong, as far as this guy is concerned.
So, for both you and Nomik, I am sharing my other favourite track off the Born to Run album. Hope you like it.
Roll Over Beethoven.
The Beatles with Jimmie Nicol on drums (brought in to replace Ringo Starr who collapsed at a photo shoot and was hospitalized with tonsillitis)... 13 days a Beatle.
I had not heard the song before either, I agree with Steffen, Doc.Yeah man I love 60s music, but this one I didn't know. Again, glad you posted. Will look up some more of their music on YouTube.
Steffen,Love it!!
Having not seen this I'm sort of laughing - nothing wrong with a little nod to bits of to the video, but to extend a m e t a p h o r !Great video! I also loved watching the people on the sidelines doing the twist, and Paul still does that little head bob when he performs!
Fast Car and Give Me One Reason to Stay by Tracy Chapman. What happened to her?
