Rereading The Book of Reuben, by Tabitha King. Enjoying it much more the second time around — I missed a lot on my first read because life was hectic at the time.

Finished all the stories in a half day. Liked them all well enough with the exception of one.I am reading Six Scary Stories from Cemetery Dance on my tab. These stories were selected by Mr. King in a contest held in the UK. I have read three and they are indeed scary. Before each story is the author's view of Mr. King's writings and, of course, he did a great explanatory introduction!
You're going to love Harvest Home, Hell House, The Damnation Game but not sure about It. Just kidding about It!Thinner, by Richard Bachman/Stephen King.
I'm also doing a 'Halloween bingo' event on my blog with some reader friends. Here is what I've chosen to read for the next two months:
Yay! IT and 'The Yellow Wallpaper' are the only rereads. Super excited to discover new (to me) tales. You're going to love Harvest Home, Hell House, The Damnation Game but not sure about It. Just kidding about It!
Thanks for that tip! I've been wanting to read Koryta and downloaded Rise the Dark to my tab. Will backtrack now on your advice.Michael Koryta's latest book "Rise The Dark" was very good but don't read it without reading "Last Words" first.
I liked Disappearance.Disappearance at Devil's Rock, by Paul Tremblay. I liked Head Full of Ghosts but didn't love it (gave it 3 stars on my blog). I am loving this one, though.
I was just going to ask you if you had read this yet! I picked it up when you gave the heads up about it being $2.99. Haven't gotten to it yet, though. Glad to hear you liked it.Michael Koryta's latest book "Rise The Dark" was very good but don't read it without reading "Last Words" first.

AND my library has it sitting on the shelf!!It's the second in a series (I think there's going to be at least one more judging from the way Rise The Dark ended) and there's just too much info in the Last Words that you need for the second one.
Boyoboyoboy...don't think I will ever be a caver!!! I was actually having trouble breathing while reading about Radley's entering a cave! I am not catastrophic but....nonononono!It's the second in a series (I think there's going to be at least one more judging from the way Rise The Dark ended) and there's just too much info in the Last Words that you need for the second one.
