Just bit feeling like the undead..
Found out today that I didn't get the job I applied for and as an added bonus, my husband was laid off from his job of 17 years.
Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear this... I hope you'll both find something soon. ((( 80sFan )))Found out today that I didn't get the job I applied for and as an added bonus, my husband was laid off from his job of 17 years.
What kinds of jobs do y'all need?
Still, possibilities for that might show up on Linkedin maybe? (for both of you, mayhap)

anyone hear about a possible serial killer recently...i think...apprehended?
that thread..."btk daughter something or other" or was it bkd? blt? good marriage thingie. anyway, i can't remember if it was on facebook or the local paper, but saw an article about a local woman who had disappeared...in texas...this was ummm, the 70s i think. and i think recently her remains were found in wyoming. i thought the article...or another i'd seen since? that may or may not be related? had something to do with some guy (reminds me of ted bundy) who is a suspect? was a suspect? in the disappearance of this local lady and possibly others? wish i could remember where i saw that. mentioned it to some friends a week or two ago...this one lady was a forensic scientist, retired now...their response made me question my memory and believe me you it ain't no great shakes. kept expecting to hear more so other than the first casual read i didn't dwell on it. the troubling thing is that the lady had disappeared some 40 years ago. oh i remember now, they had used sibling dna to identify her remains. the guy...suspect...gave me a bundy-vibe, something about photography, that sort of appeal to others.
I hope he washed it down with a nice Chianti!Yeah, some guy they were calling the 'Lowercase Ripper'. He sent all kinds of rambling notes to the police and newspapers--all written in lowercase letters:
dear boss,
i've struck again. enclosed find piece of human kidney. ate the rest, along with some venison and homemade black berry jam. stop me before i eat another...
more like a nice ale from a pub.I hope he washed it down with a nice Chianti!
