What did i do...? Missed you guys! Read some books, The Bourbon Kings of France and The Plantagenets. A lot of interesting stuff in both of em. Worked a lot. Reorganized my bookshelfes, i managed to fit in a lot of books that has just been lying around. Watched some hockeygames. Probably some other stuff too....
Tell me something I didn't already know.......I took one of those ancestry DNA genetic tests. Apparently the majority of my geographical roots derive from the Sixth Circle of Hell.

Worked out a lot during the break.
Went out with a very nice woman who actually wanted to go out on a 2nd and 3rd date! So far so good, she's very, very nice and thinks I am also which means she is 1)obviously a terrible judge of character and, 2)has little or no common sense whatsoever...but I'm not complaining...lol Going slow, but hoping the trend continues.
Did 9 more sessions of rehab.
Ate at least 6 more pounds of meat that originated from a feathered animal.
Watched sexy Pizza Hut commercials.
Lost 7 more pounds.
Took approximately 100 doses of various medications.
Watched sexy Wendy's Baconator commercials.
Ate at least 3 heads of lettuce.
Kept checking SKMB website so I wouldn't think about food.
That's about it.
Ate at least 6 more pounds of meat that originated from a feathered animal.

It's been almost two weeks and she still hasn't realized what a complete and total jackass I am, but I'm sure the ball has to drop at some point, I just keep trying to be cool and make sure she doesn't catch on to what a spastic broken idiot I truly am. Luckily, I was able to get that last 35 lbs off just in time! Spandex can be very unforgiving. We worked the cruise ships, hometown buffet, PTA meetings, that sort of thing. The blue-hairs loved us. I don't know what to do with all the plus sized granny panties I got flung at me!

After the first date with my boyfriend, I thought to myself, he's not coming back. I'm probably too red around the collar for someone like him.....I have a kid, maybe he doesn't want to date someone with a child, maybe I have too much baggage, etc.

Spent 2 weeks in Hawaii. Thankfully, I was able to find a pair of fins that don't crowd my toes and never had a hint of a flare-up while I was in the ocean. The bad news is that, during the second week, there was a +2 high tide coupled with a southerly swell that conspired to keep us out of the water for most of the week. So I got obsessed with getting great wave pics. Tell me whatcha think

This is, I think, the best picture I got. It's the only dedicated surfing heiau (altar) in the Islands. Offerings are still left at Ku'emanu heiau for tasty waves.
Spent a couple of nice evenings listening to local musicians, discovered the best hamburger on the Big Island (Ultimate Burger) and finally visited the artist colony up on Hualalai's slopes (no big whoop). We were there during the Merry Monarch Festival but didn't realize we were. We watched all of it on TV, though. Probably the best seat for me, considering. We'll try for tickets for the next trip in 2019.
