I have to go buy coffee tonight. I hate it when I'm closing down the kitchen for the night and realize there's not enough coffee for a decent pot in the morning. I'm in my jammies. I'll have to go to the drive thru Starbucks and pay $12 for a bag of coffee just to avoid putting on a bra and shoes and going into Kroger. I could go on to WalMart braless and shoeless, but I don't want to end up on People of Walmart.

FlakeNoir flakey-baby, you're looking good girl! How's life?
Hiya Holly-Polly girl, life has been hectic and full of surprises, but I'm hanging in... how've you been girl? I think of you often... and hope you're happy and doing well. (and I specifically think of you when--and this is going to sound bad-- :Oo: I'm dressing in the morning after my shower, it WAS you right, that said you were going to make it a practice to dress standing up this year eg: putting on stockings/socks shoes n boots etc? Because I have been doing that this year too and laugh my a$$ off if I overbalance and fall... and then I curse you! I sure hope I have been cursing the right person?! ;;D

not_nadine Did the bugs finally leave you alone? Somewhere this morning, I think, I read that you were having bugs. I had an image of you like Snow White, but with bugs. Stinkbugs are ugly. For some reason they love my sunflowers. I spray them full force and they don't budge.

Like little tanks. Just saw one, not here - at work but it was on my arm. Just walking along on my arm. All bugs are at work. I blame the trees that I try to read under during breaks. Bungee jumping little spiders. Must have had a sign on my back that day. All kinds of bugs. Saw one totally aqua green today. No idea what it was.
Pretty color. Glowed almost in the sun. Flew away. Little cricket looking thing.

Not obsessed with bugs. It's spring. They are all coming out.

Ha! I love this! Yes, it was me. I have been sticking to it- much easier now that it's getting warmer - usually no tights or boots involved in dressing. Skirts, bare legs and sandals. Now I'll be thinking of you as I do this. I'm afraid to say it - but I am doing quite well. I don't want to jinx it. Puttering in the garden and bird watching. Trivia nights. Reading. Are you still planking? I do most mornings. Just 1 minute.

I can't kill bugs either. Not even in the house. I'll just grab them in my hand and toss them out a window or door. I worry they'll get in my ears. Did one get in your ear?

 synchronised dressing?!
I have been really slack about the planking, I need to start it up again... a minute is great, much better than my zero planks!
It sounds like things are going well with you, I'm really pleased about that... great catching up with you, girl. ♥

I've stopped the car and pulled over more than once if I see one hanging on the windshield, then worry that I went too far and they won't be able to find their bug family.

Ear? Oh gods no. Worst nightmare. I saw a show one time where this guy was just screaming and screaming in the ER for hours. Nobody knew what was wrong until a nurse saw a bug come out and go back in. Chewing on his eardrum. AHHHHH! This big man screaming with the pitch of a 4 year old girl.

I don't touch them. I do the glass over/paper under - run fast to the window or door thing. Last time at home, it was a cricket.

Don't get me started on the time I had field mice in the house. Still not over that trauma.
Humane traps. Much screaming involved. They were very cute, at first.
When the farmer cuts down his corn, they all came running.
All of them. Must have been all of them.

I knew a woman who had mice in her house. She had a good idea with a mousetrap. She put the mousetrap in a paper bag. Easy clean up. hey? Till one time, one wasn't all the way dead. She freaked, feeling bad - and went to the garage and started her car. Taped the paper bag over the exhaust pipe with the mouse still in there.
Thought she was doing a kind thing to euthanize him. I don't know if it worked.

Slim Jims. Everybody needs a slim jim now and then.

Thoughts?
I love Slim Jims. I don't eat them much unless I'm traveling, then I go all out. A big plastic bag of my favorite gas station junk food.
Mountain Dew, Funyuns, Coconut-brown sugar donuts, Slim Jim, Frito's chili corn chips, and a Kit Kat.
When you bite into a Slim Jim, you can see that orange grease seeping from the meaty cigar. Coats your tongue in peppery spices.

You can get frustrated with the Slim Jim packaging. End up like a savage and just bite the wrap till it comes up.

I say that, because I am looking at a gas station Jim right now. I am normally delicate, ask anyone. Not with a Jim.
I agree that everyone needs a slim jim now and then. We usually get them on road trips, like Doc said.

Remember the wrestler, Randy "Macho Man" Savage? He was their spokesman for a while. "Snap into a slim jim!";-D

Funny or mean?

Did the hand shadow person talk, make sounds, sound effects?

(I had to take a break from watching The Keepers on Netflix. Child sexual abuse is horrible. At the hands of a priest, YOUR family/school priest? Devastating. )

Later!!!!
