Curling. No, seriously...I love to watch curling. It's so dramatic and intense when the participants get into it and start screaming at the stone and the person doing the sweeping. Plus, I like any sport that I could probably play while drinking, and I could drink while playing curling.

The crowd really should not be screaming at the skip or the people who throw the rock, it’s actually really distracting, but it can be fun to watch. My mom watches champion ship curling and it is intertaning as long as you know the rules and what they are doing with the rock and the techniques they are trying.

Big fan of the Olympics! I love the opening ceremony and the excitement and seeing all the countries together at a huge venue, it gives me the warm fuzzies. My wife and I mostly watch for the figure skating events, with hockey and slalom a close second and third.

I watch the half-pipe snowboard stuff, and while it's impressive, I still have a hard time thinking of it as a traditional Olympic event.

Me too I love the Olympic spirt. I prefer the w8nter games but tha5 is because I am in a winter country Canada is west in Alberta. It gets cold where I live. I love luge and the bobsled and speed skating, snowboarding and the ski jump. Plus others

It's not the spectators yelling, it's the teammates! Intense! I love it!

I'm sitting in Newcastle Library and it was nice outside, not too hot, and inside here it's like being in Antarctica with the air-conditioning going and they are always going on about climate change etc, anyway it's alright, I don't believe air conditioners, they should be banned. Also, has Owen King lost weight because he looks thinner, like in this picture, he looks thinner.

I watched the movie Thinner two days ago on DVD and I don't understand how come there's no 'special features'. The make-up and effects to make him look thinner is brilliant. It is a really good film in my opinion.

I just saw a sad sight. A middle aged guy with a gut and no hair riding a skateboard. Shouldn't there be a law that you must be young and skinny and not balding yet to ride a skateboard? There's something about old guys on skateboards that just looks wrong to me. ;-D
That added ballast may be the thing that allows him to skateboard like a boss.

...fill me in on the station man...me being an old broadcast hound....

It's a sports/news hybrid station; FMTalk1065 here in Mobile ....there are local shows, car repair, gardening, politics, golfing, food and wine, and of course sports-type shows .... (yes, I buried the lead, it's mostly half political, half-sports shows ....Todd Schnitt, Paul Finebaum, etc.)
