I earned this and didn't even know! I was just snooping around my badges and saw it!

This is so funny, any one else a fan of Elvira

I used to watch her show when it was on Tv here back in the 1980's. I can't remember it very well. You and Neesy are going through a rough patch and I heard Neesy saying she is going to do some CBT, another suggestion is to buy a board game. I went into the shop today and asked if they had this game in stock, they said I can order it. There are some other games similar. Board games, puzzles, and if chess can take your mind of stuff. I used to like playing Cluedo.

It’s true... men don’t need instructions. I had to assemble and put up for display 10 different lawnmowers in 3.5 hours yesterday evening. Only two of them were assembled the same, and five different manufacturers. The only way I could accomplish the task in time was to not even open the instruction manuals. :)

Huh? What? I am not actually going through a rough patch - on the contrary I am doing very well indeed but I thank you for your concern. I chose to take this course so I could get out and meet other like minded people.

Since I recently retired I did not want to become housebound and socially isolated.

I was just lucky enough to be enrolled the same day I saw it on the morning news!

Anyway, if you get a chance, you should try to find such a course or at least check out resources available to you in your local area. I have learned quite a bit and look forward to going there every Tuesday afternoon. I'll be sorry when it's over.

:cool2:=D

:biggrin2::encouragement:

p.s. I know you meant well, but I was taken aback by what you said - I did not lose my job, I voluntarily took retirement as the opportunity arose, rather than waiting until I am 65.
