Happy National Buttermilk Biscuit day - I like to put grated cheddar cheese in mine.

It's slowly warming up here which is nice but right now I think I'll have to go back to sleep - I got up early as my son is starting a new routine today - he starts half an hour earlier and works an extra 45 minutes at the end of the day.

Hope everyone had a nice Mother's Day!

Good Monday to all!!

Hope all had a great weekend and a happy Mother's Day. I worked the whole weekend. But got time after and before work
to spend time with my family and critters.

And tomorrow I am off from work so I really going to enjoy this summer weather before rain kick in. I heard that some people
somewhere in South Finland and even in my area went swimming during the weekend. I'll wait until June/July before I go and swim. The
water might me warm, but too cold for me.

Have a super great week and take care of you and be well. Please stay safe!!

Peeking in on the fly--I miss your 'faces'. Send me some good vibes, Tet. I have to make a decision about next year's job tonight. Do I follow my boss to a new school or stay where I am? New school will be 50 cents less per hour than what my current place is offering (still a $2/hr raise), but the stress level will be less. Where I am now, I would be the Interventions specialist--the boss--but I dunno. Poo.
Taking classes this summer--so far, The History of Rock and Roll is great fun :)

Did you like the boss? I say follow the boss. There is something to be said for being able to go home at night and knowing you aren't responsible for all that stuff. You just show up and be the best person you can be. Work hard and go home and leave it all at school until the next day.

And 50 cents? If it was 10 or 15 bucks an hour difference, serious thought. 50 cents? easy peasy.

Sending guidance== if you love your work it isn't work. Which gives you that feeling?
“Yes, I’ve made a great deal of dough from my fiction, but I never set a single word down on paper with the thought of being paid for it … I have written because it fulfilled me. Maybe it paid off the mortgage on the house and got the kids through college, but those things were on the side—I did it for the buzz. I did it for the pure joy of the thing. And if you can do it for the joy, you can do it forever.” — Stephen King

“You can only become truly accomplished at something you love. Don’t make money your goal. Instead pursue the things you love doing and then do them so well that people can’t take their eyes off of you.” — Maya Angelou

Yeah, that little bit of pay isn't even in the equation. I worry about "our" kids--I think that's my biggest hesitation. Then again, as my boss said, there will be kids who need you wherever you go.

I think the consensus is clear, both here and at home (My husband: "Pfft! Go with Karren. No brainer." :D)
