Found a perfect pineapple on sale. Had chopped pineapple, strawberries and banana on some good French Vanilla ice cream. I don't do ice cream often (lactose intolerant) but I will take a few lactaid pills for a dish now and then. This was more fruit that ice cream, though. Nomnomnomnom.....
What about yogurt? Do you like that? The thicker Greek yogurt is good with fresh fruit. I like the Astro Balkan style as well.

We both overslept this morning and were cracking each other up trying to stay out of each other's way while we were rushing around to get ready for work and get out the door.

"Did you get Aidan dressed?"

"Yes. Did you make coffee?"

"No!"

"I'm leaving you."

"Over coffee?"

"You let me oversleep AND you didn't make coffee, what's wrong with you?

"How is this my fault?"

"It just is....I don't know...MOVE! I have to get going, can you take Aidan to daycare for me?"

"Take him to daycare or make coffee? Tough situations call for tough decisions, what's it gonna be?"

"UGGGHHHH, take him to daycare please, I have to go right now. I'll get some coffee on the way."

Her walking out the door...."OMG, REALLY? YOU'RE PARKED BEHIND MY CAR!"

"That's because I haven't left yet."

Both of us now laughing.....Me: "Hey, where's Daniel?"

"He walked."

"Walked where?"

"TO THE MOON GENIUS! WHERE DO YOU THINK? TO SCHOOL!, M..O..V..E ..Y..O..U..R..T..R..U..C..K!

"Ok, have a good one, say bye to your mom Aidan."

"zzzz....zzzz....zzzz....zzzz"

I'm on salary so I just called work, told them I was running late and made some coffee...lol

Tamara's on salary also but HATES running late, especially to work. Anyway, it was a hectic morning but nice just joking around with her. I also like to put her car keys on top of the fridge every now and then because it's above her line of sight, she's pretty short, and she never thinks to ask me before stomping through the house cursing and looking for her keys...lol

Pleased to see people still care: Very busy day in our condo communities yesterday. Lawn maintenance, landscapers, tree service and others all in action. At the end of day I kept seeing managers trucks from Lawn service riding through community repeatedly. They saw me observing and informed me they had a worker missing. Some little lady who only had been with them a day or two had been leaf blowing in the backyards and had been missing since early afternoon. Her cell phone was in crew truck and she had not been seen for hours at that point.. I spread the word to a couple neighbors and got a report that someone had posted on some website about seeing a woman with leaf blower walking through her and neighbors yard blowing away leafs by their pool cages and lanais. This was unusual since these were private homes who tended to their own yards. This was a few blocks away from our community. I passed the word on and started searching those other streets. When I went back nto my community there were a couple of our residents who on their own decided to walk the property searching the backyards and by bushes and any area somone may have sat or fallen down. Around 7PM I got word that apparently she had got disoriented and wound up walking about 9 miles or so home. Relief came from that however the best part was to see the concern that was shared. The managers of her employer were relentless searching as should be and that was great but what really hit me were those in my community who stepped up and went searching thoroughly for this person who was a stranger to them. God Bless them and the feeling there are those who still care for one another. .

Nah, that wouldn't be any fun at all...lol

6'1>5'6....;;D

Let me just say that I loved reading this whole exchange, right up until you admitted to hiding her keys! As a member of the 5'3" and under club, that would be grounds for divorce, right there! Glad she's a little taller than that, but I wish for her to find ways to get even! Mwa-hahaha!!!

LOL, well, that 5'6 can very quickly change to 10 feet tall, let me assure you, complete with attitude to go with it, it's one of the many things I love about her. And yes, she has her own ways of getting pay back, usually when I'm least expecting it 2 weeks later..lol Me teasing her about her height goes way back to when we were in high school, so it's always been humorous to both of us, I would never do it in a mean spirited way, not for anything, but she's takes being short as a source of pride so it's always amusing to watch her drop her chin, watch those eyes blaze and watch for that wise-arse smirk to appear as it inevitably does if I put something up too high for her to reach it...lol

You must have a lot of tall women in your area for 5'6 to be considered short. In my family, she would be considered a giant among her people.

LOL. Really? Most of the men and women in my family are a bit taller than average I guess come to think of it. My sister is only about an inch shorter than me, mom is the same, dad is about 2 inches shorter than I am. My ex was around 5'8 or 5'9. In my very limited dating experience, I've never dated anyone as short as Tamara, so it just cracks me up sometimes, plus the fact she handles it so well and doesn't take it the wrong way if I do hide her keys now and then...lol It's interesting that her dad is 6'6 and her brother is 6'4...lol.

Well, there you go! Your experience is a bit skewed when it comes to the "short" criteria. :smile2: I think most women, or at least the ones I know, consider a woman 5'3" and under to be short/petite and above that would be average height until they're 5'8" or more and would be considered tall.
